Every webmaster should take good care of their pages loading times, especially since Google announced that loading times influence the ranks of your pages in the search engines’s result pages.
Displaying the loading times of your pages and the number of queries couldn’t be easier. Simply paste the following piece of code on your pages:

<?php echo get_num_queries(); ?> queries in <?php timer_stop(1); ?> seconds.The get_num_queries() function is used to display the total number of queries used to generate the content of the given page. The timer_stop(1) is used to display the loading time of the page in seconds.
