Everyone wants to get paid to do something they enjoy. Have you ever given thought to getting paid to travel? If your first reaction is doubt that this can happen, you are wrong. It is entirely possible to get paid for this type of activity and happens regularly. You simply have to know how to accomplish it. There is more to it than simply deciding you want to travel and watching money roll in. There is a process that you have to go through and it can take a little time.
Your first goal is to begin a review blog. This is a blog where you do nothing but write reviews on products and services that you have tried. Now, starting a review blog and having success at one are two different things. So you also need to learn how to write the best reviews and give it some practice. Think of something you have tried or done recently that you can review. Then write them up. The more content you have, the easier it will be for you to get others to trust your reviews and want you to write reviews for them.
Once you have established a blog with content then you want to work on making it profitable. This means securing readers and converting them into subscribers. Find ways to entice your readers to not only subscribe to your blog, but also to opt-in to your mailing list. You can offer free information or products as an enticement or even hold contests and make subscribing an entry. The goal is to work towards monetizing your blog. It may take a little time, but you will find that your efforts pay off in the end. During that process you can begin contacting businesses.
That is your third goal. You will contact companies and show them your blog. They will see your history with reviews, your subscriber list, your traffic and your email list. Approach them and offer to write reviews for them in exchange for discounts on the products or services you might need. This could be anything from your accommodations to your dining. If they see that you have a loyal fan base, they will be more likely to choose you to write those reviews. It benefits the company because they get more publicity and it benefits you because you get discounts.
Now that you have acquired what you need, all you have to do is go. You have discounts on your travel expenses and a blog that is bringing in an income. Yes you have to review the services you use, but is that not worthwhile if you are being paid to travel? You can easily visit a number of places that you may have previously been unable to go. Once your trip is complete you can write up the review and share it with the company before starting work on your next trip plans.
