It’s time for a quick recap of August!
That month’s news can be summarized in three short words: traffic keeps climbing. And to be honest, I’m super excited about it. My websites received over 17,000 more sessions than previous month!
As things are going, I should be hitting a significant milestone next month: over 100,000 sessions in a month.
Most of these new sessions are coming from my project 5. This website has a lower RPM-S (revenue per thousand sessions) than my other projects so I was worried that the average RPM-S would drop quite significantly as traffic grows, but it’s been holding steading at $19.45.
Between June and July, the revenue for project 5 increased by $111.47. I was wondering if growth would be about the same between July and August… Well, it grew by $236.48. That’s twice as fast as one month before! I can’t wait to see the results next month.
Apart from these results, there isn’t much to report. Due to the current pandemic life is really slow and there is not much to do besides staying inside and working. It’s a bit dull, but at least there is very limited distraction and it’s easier than ever to focus on the tasks at hand.
The publishing schedule for my projects remains unchanged. I have a few writers working on new articles and I publish new content every single day on at least one of my projects.
Let’s take a look at the growth of my various projects:
What about the money?
Here is a summary of the money flow for my various projects.
To make this report easier to understand, I’m using a simple color code: green numbers are positive, red numbers are negative.
Please keep in mind that these figures may not be 100% accurate due to various factors such as refund requests and network adjustments. The terms for each payment may also vary. As a result, these numbers may differ from the actual payments issued and received.
Admitedly, things aren’t perfect since I’m recording another loss for August. I’m still investing as much as possible in content to turbocharge the growth of my projects before the end of 2020 and going into 2021.
Unfortunately, all this investment in content means that I am seeing the end of my runway approaching and I won’t be able to sustain this kind of spending for much longer.
What’s happening next?
Next step is to keep pushing forward and publish content on project 5 at the same pace until the end of the year. Then it will be time to reassess everything and decide what will be my next moves.
Stay tuned for the next update!
