Who is Jeremy “ShoeMoney” Schoemaker?

The “Who is” series will feature important people as well as promising individuals. I will probably start with the big guys then mix it with people who are climbing up the ladder of success.
Time to jump in! Who is Jeremy “ShoeMoney” Schoemaker?
There is A LOT to say about this guy who was born on May 31, 1974, and grew up in Moline, Illinois.
In 1995, being 21 years old, he was working at Sears selling appliances. Until some day, a woman came in to offer him a better job for an ISP (Internet Service Provider) company. Indeed, she had heard from other people that ShoeMoney was good with computers, hence the job offer. Being passionate about computers and technology, Jeremy accepted the offer for this new job which was enlightening for him as he learned how to manage servers, develop security systems and write websites.
After a few years, he dropped the job to go back to school thinking he needed a degree to be able to step up his game. While Jeremy was studying, he created his first business developing gaming websites until the dotcom crash which was also the crash of his business.
From there, he went from a job to another one with things generally ending badly and him being fired. That was until he met his wife. At that time, she was studying to become an anesthesiologist and she taught Shoe that you can get whatever you want in life as long as you are willing to work in order to get it: this was a life-changing lesson.
The ShoeMoney Empire strikes back
In 2003, he got into the real deal. He started his blog ShoeMoney.com and at the same time work extensive hours on his website: NextPimp, which became one of the biggest ringtone/mobile website on the internet. It is a very selective event packed with influential people in the industry. Even if the first session was limited to 30 attendants and the entrance fee was $5,000, it’s been a complete success year after year.
In 2007, Jeremy created an Advertising network called AuctionAds which was based on Ebay Affiliation program. After only 4 months of activity, there was already 25,000 active publishers for the network generating over $2,000,000 per month in revenue.
