4 Methods To Make Money On The Internet Quickly

Very few people get rich over night but you can make some quick money on the Internet. Here are four methods you can use if you’re in need of a little extra cash.

random ideas to make money online

Ebay and Amazon

There are people who have entire stores set up on Amazon and Ebay and most started out just like you – they needed a little extra cash to tide them over so they went through their attic or garage and just started selling stuff. With Ebay, I believe the cash goes right into your Paypal account the minute the transaction is completed. Of course, you’ll need to set up a Paypal account first, unless you want to deal with the lag-time on personal checks.

The downside here is that you’ll have to ship these products to the buyers so don’t forget to account for shipping costs and the costs of packing materials in your selling price.

Fiverr.com

Fiverr.com is a micro-job site where people offer to do small jobs or sell small products for just $5 and again, many people have turned this into a full-time business. You really have to see the site to understand all the possibilities but people sell everything from handmade jewelry and gift items to psychic readings and funny videos. If you can breathe you can probably find someone willing to pay you to do it on Fiverr.

With Fiverr your funds are held in escrow for 14 days, so even if you signed up and sold something right this minute it would be two weeks before you’d see the money. However, it’s rolling revenue which means if you sell something today, and tomorrow and the next day, then two weeks from now you’ll make $4, the next day you’ll make $4 and the next day you’ll make $4 again.

Yes, Fiverr keeps $1 from every sale. In return you get the benefit of using their high-traffic site. Trust me, it’s worth every penny. You’d never get this much exposure on your own blog.

Elance.com

Elance.com is a website where freelancers and people looking for service providers can hookup online. If you can write, design websites, edit copy, build links, or provide similar services then you can find work at Elance. Once you learn how to search the site you can find buyers who need immediate help and are willing to pay as soon as you can deliver.

Warrior Forum

The Warrior Forum is a forum for Internet Marketers and they have a jobs board. If you don’t consider yourself an “Internet Marketer” don’t worry. They’re looking for all kinds of skill sets.

You may already have a marketable skill you’re not aware of. Take a look at what you do online every day. Do you know how to build Squidoo lenses or Hubpages? Do you know how to write killer content? Visit your favorite forum and ask around. There are always webmasters lurking around, looking for ready-made content. You might end up turning a quick money-making scheme into a full-time income.

I was a member of the warrior forum and I think it’s a big waste of time and money. But others have said to had much success. I purchased the membership so I could go into the specific forums but still just to post something you need to spend more money. At the end of my experience I came to the conclusion it just wasn’t something I was interested in wasting more money on. I prefer to use the free forums, V7N, Digital Point and Web Talk Forums.

I recently got a fiverr gig of writing a 50 word book review on goodreads. Pretty cool. I am thinking of providing backlink services, linkbuilding at forums using magic submitter.

I’ve made money as a freelance writer online, and I’m also a regular member of the Warrior Forum, and I’ve never paid a dime for it, so I don’t know why anybody would think it’s a paid forum (Unless you willingly sign up for “The War Room”)

I currently make plenty of money online by blogging and building tiny websites.

This happened after I decided to start up an online business, which wasn’t long ago. I was actually surprised at how easy it was to get started, and since I stayed committed to it I began achieving results and now work from home, full-time.

Starting a business online can be tough. It takes commitment and self-discipline, but the payoff is definitely worth it.

You mention freelancing and using Fiverr, and I did both of those once upon a time, but now I use them to leverage my efforts to make much, much more money online, both through my personal blog and my niche websites. :)

Justin, if you don’t really know where to start, I would advise to read my post: “How To Start A Blog”. There is a link at the top of the sidebar.

    Hi Stephane,

I earned from Odesk.com and it was good. There was a time I earned $800 a month. I’m signed up with Elance, but I still have not tried.

    Thanks for the information.

I have made a few dollars from fiverr & sites like it, but by no way a consistant income stream.

I know people making a living from Fiverr, but to make it, you have to think outside of the box. It’s all about the upsale.
